Metal table sorting machines allow indexed movement of the part and its 360° rotation in front of inspection stations. Typically equipped to detect dimensional defects on the side and head profile, cracks, imprints on head and foot, defects in hardness, defects in surface coatings, burrs, scratches, and stampings, the machines can be equipped with various vision inspection stations with and without AI, eddy current, pass- no pass gauges, mechanical thread inspection tools, linear camera.

Thanks to the transparent table, glass table machines are typically equipped to detect dimensional defects on the profile in plan (diameters, measures, concentricity) and height (flatness, verticality of side faces), presence of internal thread with one or more cameras, lower and upper base scratches, and stamps, burrs, hardness. The machines can be equipped with different vision control stations with or without AI, SFS stations, eddy current for hardness control.

Slide and belt sorters combine high-speed reconfiguration with ease of use. Designed to be economical both in absolute terms and in terms of cost per sorted part, are usually equipped with only a side vision camera aimed at profilometric inspection of a section of the part. Optionally, they can be enhanced with additional cameras in front of the part or with a hardness station.
